The first and most important thing we do as a Property Management company is look after physical environments – the inside and outside of your building, the gardens, parking, stairs, lifts, the lot! Residential facility maintenance is about making sure ALL the communal spaces and shared facilities of an apartment block are clean, well-maintained, secure and risk free.

And at PBM we believe that if a job is worth doing, it’s worth doing well. So for us, flat maintenance encompasses so much more than changing light bulbs, emptying bins and hoovering the hallway.

  • Regular site inspections and spot-checks
  • Dedicated Property Manager
  • Regular tendering of maintenance contracts to guarantee value for money and find the best suppliers for the job
  • Monitoring of service delivery (if things don’t get done, we’ll know about it!)
  • Building repairs undertaken quickly
  • Major works planned and budgeted for in advance
  • Compliance with all current legislation (Health and Safety, Fire Regulations, etc)
  • Actively encouraging residents to feedback on service and raise any concerns about their building
